The Foundation for Diabetes Research was founded in July 1999 by former members of the North Jersey Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. The mission of the Foundation for Diabetes Research is to support research aimed at a cure for diabetes and prevention of its severe complications. Research programs will be selected by a peer review process.

  • 2013 – Annual Education Meeting

    FDR would like to thank Dr. Lori Sussel, PhD from Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center of Columbia University  for presenting an update on the exciting and promising research being conducted in the treatment of diabetes.  Dr. Sussel’s presentation was very informative and promising.  Thank you to all who attended FDR’s annual Education Meeting.  Hope to see you at next year’s event.

  • 2013 – 22nd Annual Golf Classic

    Please join us for this year’s 22nd annual Golf Classic to be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Mountain Ridge Country Club, West Caldwell, NJ. Last year’s Golf Outing was very successful with over 96 golfers participating and raising over $66,000 for diabetes research. Invitations will be mailed in early March.
